In our continuous effort to build a solid organization that will be able to deliver on our strategic mission and vision, The Harmonious Chorale Ghana, has restructured its organization. The restructured Harmonious Chorale Executive Council (HCEC) now has 6 Directorates, each headed by a Director and coordinated by the Administrator. The Administrator reports to the Executive Director and to the Executive Chairperson, Rev. Dr. Rosalind Joyce Aryee. The restructuring is aimed at streamlining the organization in order to maximize efforts as well as positioning ourselves for the greater task ahead. The new HCEC members for 2020-2021 are as follows:

  • Founder/Executive Director: Mr. James Varrick Armaah
  • Administrator: Mrs. Lena Manson. She will be supported by Ms. Kenniworth Baaba Buckson (Administrative Secretary)
  • Technical Director: Mr. Kennedy Duodu Dankwa
  • Finance Director: Mrs.  Kate Lamptey
  • Public Relations Director: Mr. Emmanuel Osae-Nyarko
  • Events Director: Mr. Justice Lomo 
  • Chaplain: Mr. Samuel Twum-Barima 
  • Welfare Director: Ms. Akosua Asantewaa Essuman

In what promises to be an eventful year, Harmonious Chorale has outlined the following as major events in 2020:

1.Kalabashi Concert: Songs of Akotam – A traditional African setting stage musical by George Mensah Essilfie.
Date: Sunday 5th April, 2020.
Venue: National Theatre
Time: 4pm. 

2. Records Night – A musical concert featuring old hits rendered by Harmonious Chorale.
Date: Sunday 3rd May, 2020
Venue: Accra International Conference Centre
Time: 4pm

3. World Choir Games – Flanders 2020, Belgium.
Date: 5th to 15th July, 2020.

4. Ghana Our Motherland II- A night of Patriotic Songs: A clarion call to peaceful National Elections. 
Date: Sunday 25th October, 2020
Venue: Accra International Conference Centre
Time: 4pm.

5. A Beautiful Christmas III – Celebrating the biggest Christmas event for the year. 
Date: Sunday 13th December, 2020
Venue: Accra International Conference Centre. 
Time: 4pm.


The vision of Harmonious Chorale is to build a sustainable world-class non- denominational choir, with an excellent brand of performers and performances, having a well-structured and financially independent organization. Our mission is promoting Ghanaian and African choral music and Western classical music, touching lives through their performances, events and other interventions.  

In 2018, Harmonious Chorale was crowned the champions of the World Choir Games Category C28 in South Africa in their maiden participation.
